Algemene voorwaarden zijn voor bedrijven het middel bij uitstek om hun rechtspositie te verstevigen. Gelet op haar belang, dienen deze best up-to-date te zijn en bijgevolg is frequente aanpassing een must. Enerzijds kan men algemene voorwaarden aanpassen aan externe factoren bv. wijzigende regelgeving, anderzijds aan interne factoren bv. eigen juridische geschillen met externe partners die onvoldoende bleken afgedekt te zijn in de bestaande algemene voorwaarden.
